MyIVO 4.0 Beta Quick Start Guide

Install & Run MyIVO 4.0 Beta:
  • Download & Install MyIVO on your first computer. Go to the MyIVO Download Page
  • After a successful installation, MyIVO will run automatically and your default web browser will display a MyIVO Signon & Registration page.
  • Register your MyIVO account with a valid email address and password. If you are an existing MyIVO user, you can skip to the next step.
  • Signon with your MyIVO account. and you will see the My Computers page. If this is your first MyIVO installation, there will be one entry displayed (your local computer).
  • Install MyIVO on your second computer and sign on with the same account and password.
  • You should see two entries in your My Computers list. You can click on the remote computer's name to start the remote console.
  • On the Remote Console, you will see the following icons: Remote Desktop, File Share, System Dashboard, and File Transfer - click on each icons to explorer those functions.
  • In addition, on top of your My Computers page, you can explore the MyIVO Enterprise Management functions by clicking on the following icons: Administration Console, Technician Console, Web Meeting( See Instructions), Watch List, and Request Online Assistance.

Check Updates:
  • You can check updates at Download Page, or by clicking on the version string on top of the My Computers page.
  • For users that have an older version of the MyIVO Beta software - you need to uninstall the older MyIVO 4.0 Beta before installing the new release.

For MyIVO 3.1 Users:
  • MyIVO 3.1 can co-exist with MyIVO 4.0.
  • Unlike MyIVO 3.1, you will need to install MyIVO 4.0 on your accessing (client) computer as well as the target (server) computer. And, instead of going to the MyIVO portal, you can simply launch the local MyIVO program to start remote access.
