It's a good practice to make sure you cleanly uninstall older MyIVO 4.0 Beta for windows, before you install latest build. Otherwise, sometimes your installation may fail.
1. Exit MyIVO 4.0 Beta if it is running: Righ click MyIVO icon in the system tray area, and select "exit".
2. Open task manager to make sure all MyIVO 4.0 Beta processes are gone:
- On task manger, click on "Show processes from all users"
- Click on "Image Name" to sort all processes by name
- MyIVO 4.0 Beta processes are:
myivo.exe
myivofs.exe
myivodashboard.exe
myivomanager.exe
myivowinvnc.exe
- If any of those is still running, you can hilight it and right click to select "End Process"
3. Run the uninstaller : Start -> All Programs -> MyIVO4Beta -> Uninstall MyIVO 4.0 Beta ...
4. After unstall, you can double check weather following directory was removed or emptied:
<system drive>/Program Files/Aleric/MyVIO4Beta
<system drive>/Program Fiels (x86)/Aleric/MyIVO4Beta (on a 64 bit system)
If it's not empty, you can manually delete all left over files in it.
